So, finally, I went to South Korea.. I have been thinking of it like half a year, and I got the chance. We bought a tour, the package was 8 days for South Korea + Jeju Island.
I was so excited that time, and it's like so impossible.. 5months passed, we are going there.. Excited yet worried on what will happen there.. hahaha...
Not gonna talk much about taking flight, transit in Shanghai, etc.. I am gonna start from the first day we stepped out from Incheon Airport. Oh, it is winter in South Korea, the tour agent told us that it would be very cold.. And yes, it was super cold, around -15 degrees. But I was so excited to experience my first winter with the real snow..

Day 1
Arrival --> Gangwondo
When we walked out after taking our luggage, we saw one cute guy holding our travel agent's name, and apparently he is the one gonna be our photographer. Oh, I saw a cute couple wearing hanbok, and decided to take picture with them..

After all the tour members gathered, we walked to the bus, and heading to Gangwon-do. It takes around 3 hours. As soon as we arrived at hotel, the first schedule we gonna do is Sauna and Swimming. We did not have swimming cap, so we can only sauna. Sauna there was a bit unique. Ginseng sauna, which was good for your skin. I like it so much. But some of the ahjummas there seems like not welcoming us, ok maybe because we did something wrong while inside the sauna, but their gesture towards us was just too annoying. But some of them were nice..
Oh, my first hotel is Kensington flora hotel, it's an old hotel I guess.. Condition not nice, it was a bit dark inside, like they are saving electricity. Not recommended. But I kinda like their ondol room, slept on the floor, and it was more comfortable than my next hotel's.

Day 2
Seafood Market --> Soeraksan National Park --> Naksansa Temple --> Daegwallyeong
After having breakfast, we went to seafood market. One interesting seafood that I have seen is this, I forgot the name. but, here is the picture.

here is how the seafood market looks like, not only seafood, they also have local seaweed and other dried foods.

Next is Seoraksan National Park, aaaaaaaaaa, this place is beautiful, a lot of snow.. We took 100+ pics here I guess. We didnt ride the gondola, but I didnt regret at all.

This is the picture of the Bronze Statue and Shinheungsa temple at Seoraksan National Park.. :) Inside the temple, you wan write your wish and hang it. I forgot how much you have to pay, but I guess it was around 5000won.

On our way back, we walked from another side, and it made us so excited. At first, we were so regret that our schedule didnt include Nami Island, but after visiting Mt.Sorak, no more regret.

Lunch time, this was how the restaurant looks like, quite nice right? We always choose the less crowded lunch and dinner time, so not many people spotted in the picture. I also watched Infinity Challenge special cny, and Jaesuk was so funny.. This was also the time when I start chit-chatting alot with my photographer and tour guide. They are so nice indeed.

Next destination is Naksansa Temple, ermm, nothing much here, no snow.. LoL. They have Haesugwaneum Statue there.

I love the next destination, it was in Pyeongchang, which is where the 2018 Winter Olympics gonna takes place. A grand dragon made of snow is also set up there. To be more accurate, it is at the Daegwallyeong. I did saw the snow dragon, but we didnt visit the place, we went directly to the sheep farm. The sheeps are so cute.. But they looked so hungry, maybe the owner purposely make them starving, so visitor will be more excited to see the sheeps interested in the feeding. I was late for the feeding, because I took a lot of time taking picture around the entrance.

This is how Daegwallyeong looks like, you can see how thick the snow is, this place is great if you visit during winter. My tour guide said this indeed is the place that will have a lot of snow during winter.

End of schedule, we heading to Yangji Pine Resort, which was near to Seoul. We gonna have ski tomorrow, so we went to a ski rental shop, rent the clothes. Our dinner was B.B.Q. Chicken, I know Singapore also have it, but seriously I think it's more delicious here.

Can you spot the banana milk? haha, the right one, I love it so much.. :) The chicken, 1box contains 8chickens, for 16000won, includes 1 bottle of Cola. The sauce also nice, the bbq sauce. We start addicting to it..

Day 3
Yangji Pine Resort --> Yongin Everland --> Itaewon
Ski-ing time!!! lol.. I was so excited, because it's my first time try ski. yahoo!! But, when we collected the equipments, oh, the shoes so heavy.. we walked like robot. haha, it was fun if you know how to ski. I like it, but the thing I dont like is when you fell down, oh, it's just so difficult to get up. But after all, it's gonna be good if I can have more practice sometime in the future..

Oh, I found what I want, GD & TOP sunny 10 drinks, yay!! But, TOP one didnt come out. Nevermind, at least I got my GD, which is my bias. hahaa.

We went ski for 3,5hrs, then prepared to check out from the resort. This resort was so crowded, maybe because the nearest ski resort from Seoul is this one. We have to wait like 20mins to finally get in the lift.
Our lunch was here, a lot of thai's autograph, don't know why.

Our next destination, Yongin Everland.. It's like so big, have so many areas.. Love it so much, we were then half day, like from 2+ until 7pm.. Yay, we could experience the day and night here.. :p

I took a lot of pictures here, but would not post all. but, enjoy some of my best shots. First, we went to the animal safari.. Their animals were all so cute.. They have Liger, combination of Lion and Tigerm, which is the first breed in the world. And the teddy bear, so cuteeeeee.. They each have their own characters, kungfu bear, dancing bear, tallest bear, and so on, I cant remember all.

Next was in the theme park, maybe tehy have some event, I dont know.. But this was what happened there, like carnival.

After that, we went to play snowbuster, it was fun.. Must try if you come during winter.

Then we moved to the four seasons garden, but it was closed, no flowers. :( So, we just walked around and did the window shopping. The night view in everland also nice.. Take a look at the heater room as well.

Ok, end of everland. We went for dinner and celebrate one of our member's birthday, I love the ice-cream cake. We having bibimbap pot tonight. After the schedule ended, we went to Itaewon and having fun, experience korea's youngster life, but I am gonna talk more in another blog. We met snowfall here. My first experience, and it was so so so awesome, unforgettable.. Excited much.. Thanks to my sis friend for taking us here, having fun.. Wanna know the story, Click here!

The hotel for two nights in Seoul is COOP, it's kinda like apartment, and maybe it is apartment. Nice, I like the design.

Day 4
Hangang River --> Kimchi School + Hanbok --> Cheongwadae --> National Folk Museum --> Gwanghwamun Square --> Beauty faceshop --> Myeongdong --> Cheonggyecheon stream --> Dongdaemun

We having city tour today, which was why a lot of places we can go. :) We saw the hangang river from the bus before reaching kimchi school. We learned how to make kimchi and try wearing hanbok. It was not fun at all. Why? The kimchi teacher was not nice, not friendly.. And only two families include us trying the hanbok and taking pictures, which make us not comfortable, because others were like waiting and staring at us. Oh, i show you this. It was the water bottle we left in bus yesterday, and it turns into ice today.. My tour guide called it "water-stick".

The weather was really cold that day, we couldn't stand it, so we were back to bus and only drive through the blue house. A bit disappointed, but yeah,no choice. This was the picture of the cheongwadae mansion. :)

Next is National Folk Museum.. Ermm, nothing much. We spent about 20mins in the museum, then went out to take pictures with the snow.

Ok, lunch time. ginseng chicken soup, which I don't really like. haha, maybe bcoz i don't like ginseng. We then bought something else for our lunch part 2. It was paris baguette.

I am a loyal customer from now on. Why? Last night I tried their birthday cake, super nice.. Then, I tried the cheese cake and bread, also nice.. I love it so so much.. It is no 1 in Korea btw.

Then, we went to beauty faceshop, a big beauty store with a lot of brands. We got a sales girl promoting a brand, which is C.A.R.I.N.O, from what she said, maybe the quality is good. So, we bought quite a lot for this brand. haha.. And we also bought Etude House, Holika Holika, face shop. Oh, they don't have nature republic there.

And shopping time!!!!!!! Based on schedule, we supposed to go Insadong, but tour guide said, for us, like from Asia, Insadong will not be interesting for us. So, he suggested us to go Myeongdong. We agree with that. Yay! If went myeongdong, means I could visit SPAO and Everysing.

Here at myeongdong, a lot of beauty brands, there will be one sales girl stand by outside giving you free gift. But, if you wanna take the free gift, you have to do window shopping inside. Wasting my time.
We were really in a rush, we took too much time visiting Nature republic and other beauty shop. At the end, I ran to SPAO, but just looked around and went straight to everysing. I tried the photo-sticker (chose super junior background) and bought Super Junior chocolate.
The staff there was a bit slow in helping the customer. I told them to help me do the photo-sticker process, but they came like after 5mins. Then, my picture havent come out, I told them no picture. They asked me to wait, but I have been waiting like 15mins.. And apparently, the picture stucked inside. *sigh
I didnt manage to edit the picture, we all ran back to the meeting place, and we were very late. All of the group members already there. :(

Our last schedule is Dongdaemun. After having dinner, we went to see the cheonggyecheon stream first, it was near to dongdaemun.

Then we having our own shopping time. We visited doota, migliore, and i forgot the other two. dongdaemun is a perfect place if you wanna buy fashion thingy.. Their t-shirt all so cute. And at that time, a lot of discounts, like only 8000won, so on.

Day 5
N Seoul Tower --> Health Product Shop --> Seaweed Museum --> Amethyst Factory --> Jeju Island
Last day in Seoul.. :( Our last schedule in Seoul is N Seoul Tower. The place is full of love padlocks, so beautiful. This is where a couple usually lock their special padlock here as their sign of love.

We then visited ginseng shop, and other shop that sell healthy products. Not gonna talk about it, as I was not paying attention to what the sales girl said as well. hahaaaa... Then, we bought some seaweed, their seaweed is really nice, especially if you eat that together with rice..

Our photographer and driver did not go to Jeju with us, so we were busy taking picture with both of them in front of the amethyst factory, coz we have no interest with the jewels.. hahaa
We then reached airport, talked to the photographer for a while as we gonna depart soon. 안 녕, jonghun!! :)

Super Show 4 Singapore [Super Junior] 18Feb'12

This will be my most unforgettable concert.. The concert is totally worth it, last for 4hours.. And got my ticket like very last minute.. :)

So, I have planned to watch ss4 with my friends, but then we could not get the tickets.. A bit sad, but I let it go.. I tried to forget about it, until I went to see Siwon and Donghae at Plaza Singapura. I suddenly so tempted to go to their concert, arrgghhh.. If in Indo, they said "galau". :(

I started looking for the ticket, I asked my friend whether still got ticket, but she said have to wait for her friend's confirmation. And I've becoming more hopeless.

D-day! I asked my friend to help me buy merchandise, but ended up only can get slogan towel. I want the cable winder and cushion blanket as well. So sad.. Ah, I started to think, this month was my bad luck, goodbye ss4..

I went to stadium to meet my friend and collect my slogan towel. Suddenly, this indonesian girl who sat beside me, asking me whether I want ss4 ticket. Of course I said yes! But, apparently, they still waiting for their tickets, so I was waiting together with them. Their case was that they bought ticket from this one woman, name Indah. This Indah bought 800 tickets from sistic, but ended up get only 740+ tickets. This woman has been trying really hard to get those tickets, negotiating with the sistic, because they have paid for it. But, sistic was like take no response, asked them to wait until 6pm, where the concert was about to start..

These elfs started crying out loud as the show has been started, elfs inside the stadium started screaming which made them worry a lot. The staff also moved by them.. I can feel their sadness and disappointment.. :( But at this very sad moment, one stranger called me from twitter, ask me want ticket or not? This was so surprising, I said yes, and wait her to arrive in the venue.

Finally, I got my ticket!! running with my heels, rush inside, and managed to catch the concert, and also found my friend. waaahhhhh, the first suju boy I saw when I reach my moshpit area was Leeteuk.. They are all so handsome, cool, kind, fun, I'm in love. Last year ss3 I was seating at terrace last row, so it was a bit far..
Oh, those indonesian elfs also managed to get inside. Happy for them.

During good friends, they dressed up very cute, this moment was hilarious. I managed to get some good fanpics.. :)

Another hilarious moment was Shindong's trouble maker, aaaaaaa.. So sexy aa. :)

The stage was super cool during a-cha.. look at it!!

And the moment I was waiting the most, ryeowook's move like jagger, his abs!!! I did not take picture because I was just too excited to enjoy the moment. And yeah, wookie was my biased.. hehee..

Now, I know how it feels when you were in moshpit, a lot of fanservice, I received some, which makes me so crazy and melt, and lucky.. hahahaa
Starting from wookie, I was so sad at first, because he did not see me at all. So, at nearly the end of the concert, I tried very hard, jumping and waving my banner.. LoL, at this moment, he saw me and waving his both hands like saying hi to me, smiling. waaah, super shiok.. :)

Next fanservice was from Zhoumi, he stood quite long at my area, I was staring at him, until I made a half love to him. And, he saw it.. he made a full love back to me using his both hands.. OMG!!!!! Anyone have the picture? I am a new Zhoumi fan now. he is so nice..

This was the sapphire blue ocean in the stadium, beautiful, ain't it?

This concert was super awesome!!! A lot to share, like when Sungmin found his girlfriend, I jealous a lot.. I wish I can be her. :p Then, when Siwon pointed at us, when Leeteuk said hello to us. a lot a lot of fanservice and eye contact.

Also got sprayed by yesung and donghae.. :)

I am gonna love them more and more.. Thank God, and thank you so much RITS for inviting them, making this concert happened, and thanks to whoever you are, who sold your ticket to me.

Skip Beat Fanmeet in Singapore 16feb2012

I bet today a lot of elfs will be at Plaza Singapura to see Siwon and Donghae. Oh, Ivy Chen will be there as well. I was so excited to see them, but after hearing that people already there start taking good spot like around 10am, I lose hope. hahaa..

At the end, I still go, I arrived at around 6pm, and wuaahhhh, super crowded. I managed to get a good spot, but ended up at a damn far spot. The spot that I managed to get at first was very nice, but the owner of a shop around there said to us, "if you wanna stand here, you must pay".. walaoo, so stingy. Well, you can see the crowd on the pics below.. :)

Anyway, we were patiently waiting for Siwon and Donghae, my first bias is not one of them though, just wanna take a glimpse of them.. All of my pics are totally blur.. I did take some good one, but pixelated. I could say they were so nice, humble, kind. Siwon even offer handshake to the elf that went upstage.. They greeted all the fans at all side of the mall, keep waving and smiling.. Love them so much.

I was so hungry that time, so I leave the venue before it ended. Fans also prepared birthday cake for Siwon, singing happy birthday song for him. I did walk around the stage left and right side to see them closer, and they are so handsome.. hahaha..

I went back to my hometown recently, and I found a lot of pictures when I was young. Ah, I was so cute that time. hahahahaa..
And I realized that I travel a lot since I was 5. Jul'95 went to Kuching, Dec'01 Singapore, Dec'02 Hatyai Genting KL Langkawi, Dec'03 Taiwan Hongkong Shenzhen, Dec'04 Bandung, Dec'05 Singkawang, Jan'06 Singapore, Dec'07 Bali, April'09 Shanghai Ningbo Yiwu.

My life was fun, thank to God and my parents. :)

Gonna share with you some of those pictures. At first, it's gonna be about my trip from Langkawi - Hatyai - KL - Genting.

From Kuala Lumpur airport, we went straight to Langkawi first. It was my first time going here, and it was fun. We went to Pulau Payar to play, but at that time I did not know how to swim, so, too bad.

Then, below was the picture when I visited the eagle square.

Next next next..... Next destination gonna be Hatyai, it was part of Thailand. Nothing much here, or maybe I did not remember any special momento.. LoL.

Here in genting, nothing much. The only different was the weather, super cold. It was like puncak, as in the weather. They got casino and theme park, but I was too young for casino, and the theme park was closed.

Then we back to Kuala Lumpur, visited Twin Tower.. :)

This was a very meaningful trip for me, or I could say, for my mom,sis,n bro, coz this was the last trip we could enjoy together with our beloved daddy. :(

Hebe "My Love" Autograph Session 27nov11

After Alien Huang Autograph Session, I heard there was Hebe autograph session at Plaza Singapura, so I dropped by, but it was raining before Hebe appeared on stage. I was thinking of going home, but since I have been waiting there for 1hour, I decided to wait. I managed to take a glimpse of her, I was a fan of her songs.

He sang 还是要幸福 for us, wouw, so nice.. :)

I went back home after she sang the song, not Q-ing for autograph, coz it was raining, too crowded, and I was too tired after Alien Huang event. more pictures here.

Singapore really has so many events. Next Tuesday got MAMA 2011, which is a Korean Awards event, but gonna held in Singapore. All fans are so busy stalking their idols. Today also got four events, Alien Huang, Aska Yang, Hebe, and Community Chest Charity event. Then early dec got TVXQ Fan Party and SNSD Concert. Wuaahh.. Singapore daebak.

Alien Huang Autograph + Singing Session 小鬼黃鴻升签唱会 27nov11

Ok, today was my super happy day.. I met Alien Huang a.k.a Xiao Gui as bugis. As soon as I saw his stage, I ran to the queue, bought his album, and enter the venue.. Aaaaa, this was a miracle actually.. ahahhaa.. because it was just yesterday I was grumbling all day, because I don't even know he was here. And apparently, he was coming back to Singapore to promote "Already Famous", got 1 event at Suntec, and another at Plaza Singapura. And I missed the chance.

I even grumbling about how I did not go for Sundown Festival, because got free tickets and all that, I wanna see Show Luo at Sundown btw.. And just wouww, I finally found you, xiao gui.

I thought he went back to Taiwan already, but nope. He was still here!!!!!

I took some HD fancams of him singing, he sang 2 songs, 七十億分之一 and 谢谢你让我等于你. As usual, I love his songs.. hehehee.. He was so funny, and cute, and kind. I stood on the barricade, and I can see him clearly, because I was the tallest after standing on the barricade. When he looked at my side, I wanted to wave my hand, but too shy. :(

We sang happy birthday song for him, his bday was tomorrow, which is 28 november 2011. One surprise from his manager is that whoever having birthday on 27 or 28 can take picture with xiao gui. aaaaaaaaaa, i want. :( the fans donated $600 to community chest charity event under xiao gui name.

Then, the autograph session started. Aww, I can't wait.. I was so nervous, and when I was on stage, I just kept seeing him up close, super close, and omg, so handsome, and cute. Then, he signed my poster and album, eye to eye and gave me a very warm smile and handshake. I like his handshake, a bit longer and tight. I love him more and more.. I was melted that time and forgot everything I wanna say to him. I planned to say happy birthday to him actually. He even say xie xie and bye bye at the end, but me? nothing, ouch, too bad.

After getting autograph, I went to the side waiting for him to finish the session, and here he was. Waving at me while leaving the stage, *not in this picture.

What I could say is I am lucky, super lucky today.. Thank God for today, such a special day. :) More fancams here and pics here. I got a lot of HD pictures.. hihiiiii..

Sundown Festival Fanmeet (Zhang Yun Jing, Vivid, Teentop) 25nov'11

So, last week I went for Sundown Festival fanmeet at Square2 Mall. I was just on time for getting good spot, because 15 minutes after I arrived, the guards close the area for public standing. Actually I was not really interested in this event, but I got nothing to do, so I went there. If got Hebe and Show Luo, I will go there super early to chiong good spot. I am a Show Luo fan actually. ahaha

The first one arrived is Zhang Yun Jing, her fans not many, I know she must be disappointed. Anyone curious who she is, click here for fancam.

I went to Clarke Quay for Halloween Night, not wearing costume though. And this year's halloween, not much different with last year.. here were some pics that my sis took when we walked around Clarke Quay.

Miss A having fanmeet at City Square Mall, Singapore.. Well, I love them, but not a big big fan. But since it was open for public, I went there. It was free, why not. I wanna see Suzy and Min closer. hahaha

They were late, like for an hour, but when they arrived, everybody scream as loud as they can. A lot of fanboys that day. hihihiiii..

As soon as they introduced themselves, the autograph session started. I moved around to get pics from different angle.

And, after autograph session, they talked a bit more with us before saying goodbye. They were so nice. They hugged their fans, handshake, they fulfilled all the fans request. Cool!!

2011 F1 Singapore Grand Prix [Charice, GD&TOP, Seungri, DJ Murf]

We went to F1 Grand Prix to see Charice, GD&TOP and Seungri. The ticket not expensive, $38 only. I went there with my sis. We went early to see the situation, and indeed yes, a long queue was there.

This was our fanzone tag and ticket for F1. We looked around to find a best spot to watch the race, and we managed to sneak a good spot before the security chased us away.

It feels so nice when you hear the race sound of f1, sounds cool, well at least for me. haahaaa.. 6pm, the queue has finally moved, and all of the fans pushing each other to chiong best spot. I got 5 rows from the front, it;s a free standing concert btw.

Oh, charice, where r u?? And here she was. Her voice was awesome, her performance powerful. You could check out my fancams here. I love all her songs, especially One Day, Louder, and Pyramid.

We stood for another 3hours for GD&TOP and Seungri, oh man, we were so exhausted that day. super tiring. but all worth it. :)
After a long wait, DJ Murf kicked off the show before GD&TOP and Seungri came out.

Seungri performed first with his songs, which were VVIP, Strong Baby, What Should I Do. I loved his performance more than KMW one, maybe because this one closer, and super close. haha
But, he forgot to zipped his pants. oops.

Next was GD&TOP, all went wild. hahaa, all went high high together with GD&TOP. They were indeed super cool and awesome that day. Ah, I love them more. But, it was hard to get a good pic of them, as they were flying around the stage.

For a closing, they sang How Gee together with Seungri, aww, I like this. I always love the encore part actually. hahaa..

One thing I would like to complain is DJ Murf, he has wasted a lot of time, where we could see Bigbang more if there was no him actually, huuh..

Day 1 - 더수네 저육점 Restaurant, Pavilion Mall

We took bus from Singapore to KL, need 5 hours to reach KL. Then we looking for hotel around Bukit Bintang, and we finally found 1, super cute. The decoration all related to apple, it's apple hotel. The room also nice and clean. I asked the staff, and she said this hotel still new.

We then went for dinner, our most-wanted dinner, which is Korean BBQ @더수네 저육점 Restaurant, it's near Ampang, Korean Area. This place got a lot of Koreans and Korean Restaurants.

Because the taxi that took us from Bukit Bintang to Ampang damn expensive, around RM40, we decided to try taking Bus. We asked the bus driver and he said we taking the right bus.Finally, we could save money. But, the problem was we did not know where we should get off the bus, so we asked one person beside us, and she said we got the same destination. We followed her until the monorail station, ah, the monorail is more difficult than Singapore's. The interchange is not linked, so we have to walked outside and find another station.

Luckily, people that we met that night were all very kind. Thank God.

Finally, we arrived at Pavillion Mall, and I was so surprised and excited that I saw a poster of Huang Xiao Ming, there was an event there, but it was held yesterday. Oh, so sad, I missed it. I am a fan of Huang Xiao Ming btw.

But, we saw the staff were giving out posters, so we purposely walked pass there, and we got it, there were around 10+ posters of Huang Xiao Ming inside. hahhaa..

We just walked around KL, and having The Loaf as dessert. I love The Loaf, it's just yummy, and different. It's a cheesecake, with many flavors. Check out their site here.

There was a new building beside Pavilion, unique, but I dont know the name.

Day 2 - Sushi King, Bukit Bintang, +Wondermilk, Pavilion Mall

Today our priority is Wondermilk+, so we arranged the time to get up early, went for brunch at Sushi King.

Then shopping at Bukit Bintang. Around 3pm, we went to +Wondermilk. We have been searching on how to go to this wondermilk+, but we didnt manage to get one. We wanted to take taxi, but they said it cost RM50.

Damn it, so we took the challenge. We tried using monorail from Bukit Bintang, a little bit blur, but never try never know, right?

We stopped at Taman Bahagia, planned to take bus. This was the direction if we followed the internet's info. But when we asked the bus driver, he was a bit rude, and we decided to take the risk. We went down after around 4stops. And walk like 15minutes. Still, we couldnt find anything. Everyone we asked also dont know.

We gave up, we took taxi, and cost RM5, cheap right? hahahaa..

Finally, we were here at +wondermilk. The place was nice. My sis said the cupcakes were not as nice as before, but I don't think so, the taste still nice.

But suddenly it was raining hard outside, we can't go back to Bukit Bintang, so we decide to order another cupcake, 2 cupcakes. hahaha.. We gained a lot of weight these 2 days. :(

The rain has stopped, we went back to city by bus. And again, we followed people who has the same destination as us. hahahaaa, we were like stalker that time. Finally, we reached Bukit Bintang, and went to Pavilion to catch a movie. We watched The Smurfs. Yay! it was so funny and the story was nice as well. I start loving smurfs after watching this movie. La la la la la la, sing a happy song.. hahaha

For supper, we have Bak Kut Teh, so yummy. It was located near Apple Hotel, you must try this one. I heard it's a quite famous one. :)

Day 3 - Bukit Bintang

Today, we gonna back to Singapore, but before that, we did our last shopping at Bukit Bintang again, and went to LCCT to catch our flight. Cya again, KL.

Korean Music Wave [Bigbang,2NE1,FT Island,U-Kiss,Miss A,Teen Top,X5,The Boss,Dalshabet,TOUCH] 15jul'11

This was my ticket to the concert, I got this from my sis' friend, which is free.. So excited to the concert, I wanna see FT Island, Bigbang, 2NE1, Teen Top, Miss A, and U-Kiss.

I came early to the venue to Queue for the merchandise, but no more lightstick, which I need the most. *sad. At the end, I bought bandana and file set for my friend and myself.

The concert gonna start soon, the venue was filled up, me and my sis getting ready to cheer for them, Oh, my sis came for bigbang anw. hhehehee.

This is my lightstick to support U-Kiss, I got it for free from fanclub.. ㅋㅋㅋ
The light was dimmed, and everyone getting crazy, shout louder and louder. The special MC for today's concert were Miss A Min and U-Kiss Kevin.

FT Island was the first to perform, I love all their songs, especially Hello Hello and I Hope. Hongki so cute.. <3

After FT Island, there were TOUCH and XS and The Boss, but I don;t know much about them, so I just enjoyed the performance, abit sleepy though. I was awake when X5 performed Fantasy, quite nice.

I don't know much about Dalshabet, one thing I know is their Supa Dupa Diva. But I managed to get a good shot of them, maybe due to the light, or their colorful costume.

Finally, after a long wait, it was Teen Top turn, their Supa Luv was fun, the dance move also fun. I support Ricky and Niel btw. They were super cute.. :p My most favourite song is Angel, you must try listening to this song.

Miss A and U-Kiss performed next. I like Miss A stage, their song "Blankly" was nice. And U-Kiss performed 0330!! my favorite song. AAAHHH, I was so damn happy, all my favorite groups sang my recent favorite songs. yahoo!!

Next was the highlight, 2NE1 and Bigbang. All VIPs and Blackjacks turned on their lightsticks, almost 80% of us are YG fans I guess, especially Bigbang.

2NE1 performance was so energetic, they are cool! My friend love them so much btw, and I agree with her. 'I am the best" was awesome, all getting wild.

But, all really getting wild and crazy when Bigbang gonna performed. They performed Tonight and Love Song, then they have their sub-unit performance as well. So sad that Daesung couldnt join them. Seungri, Taeyang, GD&TOP performance were great, especially GD&TOP, awww.. they were cool. I started puttting my heart towards GD now, sorry Taeyang.

All shout Bigbang for encore, and they came back to perform Hands Up. Oh, this was super super super awesome.

Overall, the concert was daebak, except the crazy fans behind us, super noisy, shout like mad. :( The concert last for around 3.5 hours, so worth it right? More pics here, and more videos here.

We know nothing about Johor actually. One thing we know is near Singapore, City Square Mall. That's it. The only reason I wanna go Johor is Sushi King. I fall in love with them since I tasted them in KL. It's nice, especially the deep fried egg. Yummy!!!!!

For dinner, we chose Kenny Rogers here, a bit cheaper than Singapore. But as usual, the size is big.. hahahaaa.. super full after eating this one.

Day 1 - Tangkuban Perahu, Ciater, Kampung Daun

Our cousins are in town, so we decided to bring them touring around, we chose Bandung. :p We stayed at Grand Hotel Lembang, we arrived there around 2pm. First stop is Tangkuban Perahu.

Tangkuban Perahu (spelt Tangkuban Parahu in the local Sundanese dialect) is a dormant volcano 30 km north of the city of Bandung, the provincial capital of West Java, Indonesia. It last erupted in 1959. It is a popular tourist attraction where tourists can hike or ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot water springs and boiling mud up close, and buy eggs cooked on the hot surface.^[2] This stratovolcano is on the island of Java and last erupted in 1983. Together with MountBurangrang and Bukit Tunggul, those are remnants of the ancient Mount Sunda after the plinian eruption caused the Caldera to collapse. (cr: wikipedia)

The name translates roughly to "upturning of (a) boat" or "upturned boat" in Sundanese, referring to the local legend of its creation. The story tells of "Dayang Sumbi", a beauty who lived in West Java. She cast away her son "Sangkuriang" for disobedience, and in her sadness was granted the power of eternal youth by the gods. After many years in exile, Sangkuriang decided to return to his home, long after the two had forgotten and failed to recognize each other. Sangkuriang fell in love with Dayang Sumbi and planned to marry her, only for Dayang Sumbi to recognize his birthmark just as he was about to go hunting. In order to prevent the marriage from taking place, Dayang Sumbi asked Sangkuriang to build a dam on the river Citarum and to build a large boat to cross the river, both before the sunrise. Sangkuriang meditated and summoned mythical ogre-like creatures -buta hejo or green giant(s)- to do his bidding. Dayang Sumbi saw that the tasks were almost completed and called on her workers to spread red silk cloths east of the city, to give the impression of impending sunrise. Sangkuriang was fooled, and upon believing that he had failed, kicked the dam and the unfinished boat, resulting in severe flooding and the creation of Tangkuban Perahu from the hull of the boat. That's the local legend of Tangkuban Perahu, next we went to Ciater.

The water temperatur of 45⁰ C cools down to 40⁰ C - 42⁰ C, after is allowed to flow through the pipes of the bathrooms in the hotels. The village of Ciater is well know for its natural hot spring, the source of sulphuric water which is reputable for its efficacy to cure various disease like paralysis, remathism, nerve and bone diseases and other skin diseases under consultation and supervision of doctor specialist. The water shich flows through the river of 2.000 meters long becomes cold and is used by the people in the community to irrigated their rice fields. We then having dinner at Kampung daun, this place is nice, nice for dinner as well. I got the feeling.. hahahaa

But, you have to Queue. Take your Queue no., wait for 1 hour, and you got your table. Yes, damn crowded, man..

If you are super hungry, cannot tahan liau, don't go to this restaurant. Or have snack first, the food here at Kampung Daun is yummy btw.

Day 2 - Strawberry Farm, Kawah Putih, Kartika Sari

Ok, this gonna be my first time to pick strawberry. it was fun, a lot of strawberries there, you can pick as many as you want, but you must pay for it.

We then went to a very far destination if i'm not wrong, Kawah Putih. Too much sulfur here, so we have to wear mask to get inside. :p

Kawah Putih (English: White Crater) is a striking crater lake and tourist spot in a volcanic crater about 50 km south of Bandung inWest Java in Indonesia.^[1]

Kawah Putih lake (7.10° S 107.24° E) is one of the two craters which make up Mount Patuha, an andesitic stratovolcano (a "composite" volcano).^[2] Mt Patuha is one of numerous volcanoes in Java. The Kawah Putih site was opened to visitors in 1987. The lake itself is 2,430 meters above sea level so the local climate is often quite chilly (temperatures are frequently around 10 degrees celsius). This makes a brisk change from the humidity of the north Java plain and the capital city of Jakarta. Kawah Putih is a sizeable acid lake which changes colour from bluish to whitish green, or brown, depending on the concentration of sulfur and the temperature.^[3] The sand and rocks surrounding the lake have been also washed into whitish colours by the vapours from the lake. Day 1 - Pantai Parangtritis, Restoran Numani, Malioboro

Our first destination after arrival is Parangtritis. We booked a city tour before, so all the itineraries were arranged by them. Parangtritis is indeed beautiful, we managed to catch the sunset moment as well. We then having dinner at Restoran Numani and do night shopping at Malioboro.

Day 2 - Candi Borobudur, Ayam Goreng Suharti, Candi Prambanan, Malioboro, Restoran Mahkota

Today we gonna visit the famous Candi, used to be one of the 7 wonders in the world, Candi Borobudur. Waah, so nice I tell you. But, that day, damn hot sia. I can't stand it..

Borobudur, or Barabudur, is a 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist monument near Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. The monument comprises six square platforms topped by three circular platforms, and is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues.^[1] A main dome, located at the center of the top platform, is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues seated inside perforated stupa. We having lunch at Ayam Goreng Suharti, superlicious. yummy, and it's so famous. People talk a lot about this fried chicken. But a bit too oily. The next destination still Candi, which is Prambanan.. which one nicer? :) for me, Borobudur a lot nicer.

Prambanan is a ninth century Hindu temple compound in Central Java, Indonesia, dedicated to the Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator (Brahma), the Sustainer (Vishnu) and the Destroyer (Shiva).

The temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia, and is one of the largest and the most beautiful Hindu temples in Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its tall and pointed architecture, typical of Hindu temple architecture, and by the towering 47m high central building inside a large complex of individual temples. During night time, we did our final shopping at Malioboro, I bought a lot of souvenirs. Everyone looked at me like OMG, you bought all this?? hahahaha.. I suggest you go Mirota batik, if you intend to buy souvenirs, more expensive than outside actually, but you don't need to bargain, and many kinds of souvenirs you can choose. We having dinner at Restoran Mahkota btw, and the servings very very slow.. don't go. LoL.

Day 3 - Museum Kareta Karaton, Dagadu, Keraton Jogjakarta, Taman Sari

Today's schedule was really arghhh, i didnt like all these places. Nothing we can see here. But one excited thing is that we learned how to make Batik at Luwe Putra, near Museum Kareta Karaton. We also visited Dagadu (khas jogja). :)

Deutsche Bank, in partnership with the National Museum of Singapore, present Cai Guo-Qiang: Head On, an exhibition by renowned Chinese-born contemporary artist Cai Guo-Qiang. Singapore is the first country in Southeast Asia to host this spectacular group of artwork from the Deutsche Bank Collection. The exhibition consists of three parts: the eponymous installation Head On, where replicas of 99 life-sized wolves, run fearlessly and collide one after another into a glass wall; Illusion II, a two-channel video installation that also documents the explosion project by the same title; and Vortex, a gunpowder drawing depicting hundreds of thousands of wolves chasing one another in a circular motion. Vortex will also be accompanied by a video that features the artist creating the drawing.
The installation of the heroic wolves first premiered at the Deutsche Guggenheim Berlin in 2006 and has since been exhibited in many institutions around the world, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York and Bilbao, the National Art Museum of China in Beijing, and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum before travelling to Singapore. What makes the installation at the National Museum of Singapore unique compared with the work’s previous sites is its presentation in a gallery completely painted in black. Harry Potter Costume Display 17nov'10

In celebration of the release of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, Warner Bros. has created a special Harry Potter promotional display. For the very first time, a selection of actual props and costumes from film will allow Singaporeans to be the first in Asia to see the artifacts from the film. The items will be displayed from 4 November to 26 December at Level 1 of Iluma, the shopping mall with lots of white snow-flake-like lights located at Bugis. It's my first toy cam!!!! excited much. hahahaa.. this is how it looks like. Cheap and fun.

Aquapix is a camera that can be used in the water. This is a manual camera, still use 35 mm film are easy to found in many photography shops. This camera does not require batteries in its use.

after buying aquapix i was so tempted to buy another toy cam, and finally, I bought Golden Half.. This cam has no effects, but looks cool.

Days are long, nights are longer, and the nose on your catch of the evening is even longer than that. Pulau Ubin 25jun'11

Pulau Ubin is in essence, the last 'kampung' (village) in Singapore. A stroll through Ubin takes you back to Singapore in the 1960's with the simpler pleasures of life. The slow lane starts as soon as you join the queue for the bumboat at Changi. As you arrive, all cares are left behind.

Ubin is a great day trip spent walking or pedaling through rustic roads under swaying coconut palms, exploring shady trails in overgrown rubber plantations, checking out secluded beaches and flourishing mangroves. Asia's First Sustainable Light Art Festival 15 October to 7 November 2010

The 26 light artworks of i Light Marina Bay are placed across 3.5km of Marina Bay to make up the Light Walk that spans The Helix Bridge, The Floating Platform, The Esplanade, One Fullerton, The Promontory @ Marina Bay to the City Gallery at the Waterfront Promenade.

The Light Walk is free and you may enjoy a leisurely stroll at your own time in the evening when the light artworks are turned on from 7.30pm to midnight. Each light artwork is accompanied by a signage explaining what the work is about, who the artist is & also what's smart about the work.

i Light Marina Bay is presented by URA in collaboration with a creative team helmed by Ms Mary-Anne Kyriakou, the Festival Director, together with Singaporean co-curators Ms Kelley Cheng and Mr Randy Chan. The first major light art event in Asia, the Festival is set to become the regional platform for the exchange of ideas and technology, artistic expression and public engagement through beautiful light art works with intelligent light usage. A key component of the Festival is the participation of both local and international light artists and designers who have created new, site-specific works addressing the theme of people, place and time.
