Hello world, this time i'm gonna share my 4d3n getaway in Langkawi, Malaysia.
This was my second time going there with my family, so we decided to plan different itinerary.
Day 1- Langkawi Cable Car
We departed from Singapore early in the morning, transit in Kuala Lumpur, and taking afternoon flight at 1.50PM. We arrived at Langkawi around 3PM, my sister picked us up @airport.. Welcome to Langkawi!!
Our first destination is Langkawi Cable Car. It was fun, we were at 653.5 Meter above the sea level. The view from this level was great, beautiful.
We continued riding the cable car to the top station, which is 708m above the sea level. Haha, it is quite scary, ain't it? We were scared while walking at the bridge, which is foggy..
It was so cold up there, so we decided to go back to the base station and have some rest at resort. On the way back, we stopped the car near the petrol station, and took some pictures near the harbour bay.
We stayed at Sheraton Langkawi Resort, and the room is super nice.. We then decided to walk around the resort, and our timing is just right. We can actually see the sunset, a great one..
Ok, time for dinner. We don't even know the recommended restaurants here, so we just pick any restaurant we could find. I forgot the name of the restaurant, but it was not far from the resort. The food quite ok, we ordered Laksa and some Malaysia's dishes, i will give them 3/5.
Day 2 - Pantai Pasir Hitam, Telaga Air Hangat, Durian Perangin, Bird Paradise, Kuah Jetty Eagle Square, Langkawi Parade Megamall
We did another tour around the resort this morning, and it was great, the facilities are good. The beach and swimming pool are nice as well.
We are going to town. :p We have no plans for today. As I was feeling unwell, so I was just keep sleeping. First stop is Pantai Pasir Hitam. I thought the sand will be black, but nope, it was just an usual beach, with nothing special. haha.. it's quite dirty as well.
We found a cutie kitten here and it tried to following us everywhere. so cute, ain't it? I do not like cat though.. :) For me, it's scary, especially the big one with scary eyes..
Second stop is Telaga Air Hangat, which has nothing except the warm water. The water is believed to provide relief for arthritis, joint pains, body aches and certain skin ailments. We tried for around one minute and give up, not because hot, but it's abit dirty.
Third stop is Durian Perangin, we having our lunch here as well. The taste of Nasi Goreng Kampoeng here was great. But the Durian Perangin, I don't think so. Nothing here as well, expect waterfall.
Fourth Stop is Bird Paradise, but we decided to not buying the ticket, why?? haha, afraid there is nothing interesting as well, perhaps because of all those three stops before.
So we decided to rest a while at our hostel, which is Cozy Inn. It was quite new I guess, the service not bad as well. But the room, not as expected (different with what we saw in the pictures).
Finally, we going to Eagle Square!!!! But our excitement once again disappeared as soon as we saw that it is under construction.. :( We sat there for a moment and decided to visit the mall nearby, Langkawi Parade Megamall [Duty Free Shopping Mall].

Day 3 - Beras Basah Island, Eagle Feeding, Dayang Bunting Island, Jetty Point Mall
Yay, I wish today would not be boring like yesterday.. We bought Island Hoping Tour for today, and gonna enjoy our last night in Langkawi. The tour guide was late for 1,5 hour.. Grrrhh, I hate waiting.
And finally the guide is here, and here we go!! We were taking speed boat to the first island, Beras Basah Island. It was quite far, but fun.. We swam for a while, and we saw few fishes swimming around seaside, the small one for sure.. Not those big big one lah.. ahahaa..
Last stop is Dayang Bunting Island. There is a story behind the name of this island. Click here to know more about it.

Next, Eagle Feeding. This was my first experience. How to feed them?? The driver threw a lot pieces of bread into the sea, and the eagles start coming from the forest, ALOT!! It was creepy actually, but looking at the amount of them and flying towards the food, it was cool.

And as you can see, nothing much for today as well. *sigh.. but, afraid not. Coz Westin Resort has made my day. We ordered lunch as soon as we checked-in. We were just too hungry, and wouw, super yummy. We ordered Chicken Rice and Fried Rice.
The room is nice btw, a lot nicer than Sheraton for me. hahaaa.. After having lunch and rest a bit, we continued walking around the resort, playing kite near the beach, and swimming.. The pool is nice, you can look through the beach from there.
That would be all for my second trip to Langkawi. I think the first trip is better, we went to Pulau Payar last time (2006), which was so beautiful. Ermm, Pulau Payar is a-must-go if you wanna visit Langkawi..
