Lantern Festival 2011 at Chinese Garden 11sep'11

The garden of lights
Mark your calendar, because The World of Legends is taking over Chinese Garden and turning it into a spectacle of lights.

Also known as the Moocake or Lantern Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a cultural event widely celebrated by the Chinese community all around the world. In a tribute to Chinese Legends that are strongly associated with the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Lantern Festival at Chinese Garden plays host to The World of Legends, a spectacular display of large-scale lanterns and props.

Spread across eight hectares of greenery, the garden will also come alive with stage performances, traditional food stalls and carnival games. Families can look forward to activities at Kids Fun Land and tucking into hearty meals at a food court together. To catch the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations in full swing, head to the Chinese Garden.

 From all the pics above, you can see that we came to this event at the very wrong timing, the decorations all not nice.. :(
